Dog Owners!
Is your dog running your life?
There's Hope!™

Do you love your dog but struggle with his or her undesirable behaviors? Is your dog jumping on people, lunging at people or other dogs, being aggressive or acting fearful? Does your dog tow you down the street at the end of a leash? Have you been to obedience training but still struggle with your dog? We can help you create the life you envisioned when you brought a dog into your home. Find out how easy it is to have a stable dog.

Yes, you can still enjoy the companionship and affection of your dog. However, you must first provide "The Four Essentials to a Stable Dog: Leadership, Walks, Rules, and Good Nutrition." What you learn, may forever change your relationship with your dog...for the better! This technique is natural; it's dog psychology, it’s gentle and very humane. This technique changes lives…and saves lives!

"We will work with any dog – as long as the owner is willing to change." New York's Canine Specialists (formerly know as New York’s Dog Whisperers) are available for private consultations, group demonstrations, and symposia to help any organization learn how to rehabilitate and handle dogs properly. “It’s not hard…it’s just different.” There’s Hope! ™

Featured friend of the month

Available for adoption from

Rudy's Rescue

Dubb is a 10 month old Labrador/Pit Bull mix. He is a solid 60 pounds with a beautiful chocolate shiny coat and a patch of white on his chest. He is neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on all his vaccinations. He is crate trained (though not his favorite place) and house broken. He knows basic commands – sit, down and comes when his name is called. Dubb gets along well with the two resident dogs and is playful but knows when to settle down. Due to his size, we would recommend that he go to a family with older children. He is a very sweet dog and loves to be around his people and curl up with them.
